The frontline index S&P BSE Sensex declined 0.69% or 416.71 points during the week and closed at 60,205.06 on January 25, 2023.
The fall was broad based during the week with S&P BSE Midcap declined by 1.39% at
24,657.39. The S&P BSE Smallcap also ended at 28,154.89 declining 1.66%.

Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd reported excellent quarterly performance for the quarter ending December 31, 2022. Topline jumped by 38.61% YoY and stood at Rs 684.96 crore from Rs 494.15 crore. Net profit stood at Rs 107.09 crore compared to Rs 86.44 crore from the previous year’s same quarter, a YoY growth of 23.89%.

The fall was broad based as the basic materials stocks were trading in the negative zone with BSE commodities index falling by 3.14% during the week.
