Opening Bell: Markets extend gains on positive global cues

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets opened higher on the back of positive global cues.
At 9:43 am, Nifty 50 and Sensex were trading with gains of 0.68% each. Top large-cap gainers of the index include HDFC Life Insurance Company, SBI Life Insurance, Titan Company and Bajaj Finance. Mid-cap and Small-cap stocks were seen underperforming broader markets.

Pidilite Industries - 100X.VC, a leading seed stage CAT 1 VC Fund announced its partnership with the company for their venture arm called Pidilite Ventures. As a part of the partnership, 100X.VC will collaborate with Pidilite Ventures to identify strategic investment opportunities for them. 100X.VC also offers Venture Capital as a Service (VaaS) with a unique multi-stage investment thesis for category-defining start-ups to help large corporations get access to research and innovation.
Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences – The company has acquired a 51% equity stake in M/s Spanv Medisearch Lifesciences Private Limited (Kingsway Hospitals) and the shares of the Kingsway Hospitals were credited in the demat account of the company. Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) is one of the largest corporate healthcare groups in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in terms of patients treated and treatments offered. The company offers multidisciplinary healthcare services with primary, secondary, and tertiary care across 2-3 tier cities and an additional quaternary healthcare facility in tier-1 cities.
Skipper - The company’s engineering business has secured new order of Rs 225 crore. The company is engaged in manufacturing and selling transmission and distribution structures and pipes and fittings. It also undertakes EPC projects in the infrastructure segment.
Engineers India – The company has been awarded a work order worth Rs 249 crore from ONGC.
Lords Chloro Alkali – The firm has recently announced that it is expanding its soda capacity from 210 TPD to 300 TPD. The company was incorporated in 1979, for producing and exporting a wide range of chemicals. It is currently engaged in the production of caustic soda and other chemicals.
Dynemic Products - The company has informed the exchange that Amisha Patel, CFO of the company tendered her resignation on September 12, 2022.
