About Dixon Technologies (India)

Dixon Technologies India Limited is a diversified Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) firm founded in 1993. It operates in the electronic product sector, encompassing consumer electronics, lighting, home appliances, closed-circuit television cameras (CCTVs), & mobile phones. It also performs tasks related to reverse logistics. In addition, it makes AC-PCBs, wearables, & hearables for security surveillance. It recently joined a joint venture (JV) with Imagine Marketing Private Limited to develop & produce wireless audio products in India. With its headquarters located in Noida, DTIL operates about 22 manufacturing sites (consolidated) in following locations: Ludhiana, Punjab, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, & Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company, along with its subsidiaries & joint ventures, has been granted clearance under Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) plan for five areas in the past few years: mobile phones, IT hardware, telecom & networking goods, lightning, & inverter controller boards for air conditioners.

Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) & Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) are two business formats that the company uses.

1.OEM: Dixon is the executioner in this arrangement; they only put items together in accordance with client specifications.

2. ODM: Dixon will employ its in-house R&D to create products from ground up, including design & raw material selection. As a result, this approach realizes greater OPM.
