In India, Bosch Ltd manufacturing plants are located in Bangalore, Nashik, Naganathapura, Jaipur and Goa. The company started manufacturing spark plugs for single-cylinder diesel pumps in the year of 1954. 

After some years of manufacturing, Bosch Ltd expanded its manufacturing by setting up a second plant in Nashik in the year of 1972. Over a period, they also started manufacturing electric power tools, and Blaupunkt car audio systems and later they started catering – the engineering and business service needs of the Bosch world.
